To all the reviewers giving this movie one star due to “animal cruelty.” What is wrong with you people?? Can’t you tell the difference between actual, real-life animal cruelty and make believe in a movie? Cheese & Rice!

I really had a hard time staying invested in this movie Slow and boring and while the children are excellent child actors it doesn’t mean that their characters aren’t obnoxious and annoying. The animal cruelty started to get unnecessary and I sort of checked out halfway through the movie. It was a meh from me.

Wow. Just wow. What an incredibly chilling tale. Can't say I necessarily enjoyed it, but it was impossible to look away. Atmospheric. Macabre. Stunningly acted by a phenomenal young cast. I won't watch it again, but I can't recommend it enough. Slashers are a dime a dozen, but a beautifully shot and executed tale of pure horror is rare. Give it a watch. Just rent it though. You probably won't want to pull this one out on date night either. TW: animals and children being harmed

A roller coaster ride that is “more intense” than you thought it was going to be. Wow!

Trigger Warning: Animal Cruelty You lost us after Ben and Ida threw a live cat off of a building within the first fifteen minutes of the film.

Please stop advertising this movie Apple! I love a good horror/thriller but please don’t support animal abuse!!

Can somebody please explain what this movie is supposed to be about? It was slow, long and obtuse. Bring back leather face and Michael Myers.

This an amazing movie. A gem you will not regret to watch. Seems slow but is perfect and it evolves at a perfect pace

Animal abuse rampant in this one it’s sick

What a movie! This Norwegian thriller is quietly creepy, sometimes disturbing and often heartbreaking. Beautifully acted by the young cast and directed with such subtle style - I can’t recommend this gem enough.
